How to achieve a qualification with ACCV
ACCV offers a number of programs which provide formal recognition of your learning and workplace skills. Using a ‘building block’ approach, the programs can be completed by attending specified ACCV short courses and completing the assessment requirements.
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)
ACCV recognises previous life experiences and achievement of formal qualifications. Competencies for which Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) are being sought, may have been developed through formal education and training, through work experience – or through life experiences.
Assessment
Assessment tasks are provided to learners’ training with ACCV. To obtain a Certificate of Completion or a Statement of Attainment learners are required to successfully complete assessment requirements for each unit. Most assessments are conducted during the training session under supervision of the course facilitator.
Mutual Recognition (Credit Transfer)
ACCV recognises qualifications and statement of attainments issued by other Registered Training Organisations and Higher Education Providers. If learners wish to apply for mutual recognition they must provide a certified copy of the official documentation of results to ACCV administration staff.
